Thunderstorms, Some Strong-Severe, Are Expected Over The Next Few Hours Across Western & Central Mass

I am keeping an eye on a line of strong to severe thunderstorms that are now pushing into far Western Mass. It is expected that these storms will move across the Berkshires during the next hour and reach the I-91 corridor by about 5 pm .

These storms are then expected to push into the western parts of Worcester County by about 5:45-6 pm.

From there, it appears that these storms will push through the rest of Central Mass between 6 pm and 7 pm.

These storms will be capable of producing wind gusts of up to 45-65 mph, torrential downpours and frequent lightning.
