The Remnants Of Isaias Will Bring Some Rain To Western & Central Mass From Late Sunday Afternoon Through Sunday Night

For The Rest Of This Afternoon & Tonight: An area of high pressure is expected to control the weather throughout the rest of this afternoon and tonight.


Sunshine is expected to be filtered by some high cirrus clouds throughout the rest of this afternoon. Temperatures will be around 60 Degrees. Winds will be West to Northwest at 5 to 10 mph.


Even though skies will be clear tonight, there is expected to be a very thin layer of high cirrus clouds around. Low temperatures will be around 40 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 5 to 10 mph.


Sunday & Sunday Night: The remnants of Isaias are expected to make their way across our area during late Sunday afternoon and Sunday night. This means that we can expect rain across all of Western and Central Mass throughout late Sunday afternoon and all of Sunday night. It appears that rain totals will be in the neighborhood of between one half of an inch (0.50”) and one inch.


Skies are expected to quickly become cloudy during Sunday morning. Rain will then begin across all of Western and Central Mass by about late Sunday afternoon. High temperatures Sunday will be near 60 Degrees. Winds will be South at around 10 mph.


Rain is expected throughout all of Sunday night with low temperatures of near 45 Degrees. Winds will be Northeast at 10 to 15 mph.


Again, it appears that rain totals from late Sunday afternoon through Sunday night will average between one half of an inch (0.50”) and one inch across all of Western and Central Mass.


Monday: The remnants of Isaias are expected to exit quickly to the east during Monday morning. This means that any leftover rain will come to an end by about mid-morning, at the latest.


Once the rain ends, skies are expected to remain cloudy throughout the rest of the day on Monday, although some partial clearing is possible by late in the day.


High temperatures Monday will be around 60 Degrees. Winds will be North to Northwest at 10 to 15 mph.


Tuesday: A pretty robust frontal system is expected to push its way across the region during the day on Tuesday.


Tuesday is expected to be a cloudy day and there will be some widespread showers around during the afternoon. These widespread showers are expected to continue through Tuesday night before ending late at night.


High temperatures Tuesday will be between 60 and 65 Degrees.


Wednesday Through Friday: An area of high pressure is expected to build into the region during Wednesday and Thursday. A strong cold front is expected to push through the region by Friday afternoon and Friday evening.


Wednesday looks partly sunny with high temperatures between 60 and 65 Degrees.


Thursday looks sunny with high temperatures between 55 and 60 Degrees.


Friday looks to be a cloudy day & there will be scattered showers around during the afternoon and evening hours. High temperatures will be near 60 Degrees.
