It looks like Friday morning could be very stormy as a squall line moves through the region from west to east.
All indications are that a squall line that's now pushing into the eastern Great Lakes region will reach the Berkshires by about 7-8 am Friday morning and then reach the I-91 corridor during the 8-9 am time frame. This squall line is then expected to move into Central Mass by about 9-10 am before moving out of the area a little after 11 am.
This squall line looks to consist of widespread heavy showers and thunderstorms. Some of the thunderstorms may be on the strong to severe side with 45-60 mph wind gusts, penny size hail, torrential downpours and even the possibility of a tornado or two.
This is something that I'm going to be watching closely and know that I'll have more updates as needed.
