Showers & Thunderstorms Tuesday Will Be Followed By Dry Weather On Wednesday, Thursday & Friday

Some scattered showers now pushing into far Western Mass will gradually traverse their way across the entire area this evening. This means that a few showers are possible during this evening across all of Western and Central Mass.

As we get into the after midnight hours of tonight, scattered showers can be expected across the entire area.

Low temperatures tonight will be around 55 Degrees. Winds will be Northeast at 5 to 10 mph.

Tuesday will be a fairly wet day across the area as a cold front gradually makes its way through the area by late in the day.

Widespread showers and scattered thunderstorms will overspread Western Mass by 9-11 am and then overspread Central Mass by 10-11 am Tuesday morning.

The widespread shower and scattered thunderstorm activity is then expected to last into the early afternoon hours of Tuesday before ending by 2-3 pm or so.

None of the thunderstorms are expected to be strong or severe, however, some of the thunderstorms will produce heavy downpours.

High temperatures Tuesday will be around 70 Degrees. Winds will be East at 5 to 10 mph.

It should be noted that another line of showers and thunderstorms may then affect the entire area between 8 pm and 11 pm Tuesday evening before drier air pushes into the region behind that cold front.

Wednesday looks sunny to partly sunny with high temperatures between 80 and 85 Degrees. Winds will be West at 7 to 15 mph.

Thursday looks partly sunny, warm and humid with high temperatures between 80 and 85 Degrees.

Friday looks to be a partly sunny day with high temperatures near 75 Degrees.

Finally, there is actually some hope for this weekend to not be a total washout on either day, like we've had for so many past weekends.

Saturday looks cloudy and there could be a few showers possible, especially in the morning. It does appear that a high pressure system just to our east may fend off the heavier and steadier rain and keep it to our west across western New York and western Pennsylvania. High temperatures will be between 70 and 75 Degrees.

Sunday also looks cloudy and it may actually be dry all day long. High temperatures will be near 70 Degrees.
