Showers & Thunderstorms Expected Tuesday Afternoon With Even More Showers Expected On Thursday Across Western & Central Mass

For The Rest Of This Afternoon: Generally sunny to partly sunny skies can be expected throughout the rest of this afternoon. It is also expected to be humid. Temperatures will be between 85 and 90 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 10 to 20 mph.

Tonight: Clear to partly cloudy skies are expected and it will be humid. Low temperatures will be between 65 and 70 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 10 to 20 mph.

Monday: A very warm and humid day is expected on Monday under a mixture of some sunshine and lots of clouds.

Some moisture way out ahead of an eastward moving cold front located over western New York State might lead to some very isolated showers and thunderstorms to occur during the evening hours across Western Mass. Central Mass should stay dry throughout the day into the evening hours.

High temperatures will be between 85 and 90 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 10 to 20 mph.

Tuesday: That frontal system will slowly push southward through our area during the day on Tuesday. While this is occurring, the remnants of what was once Tropical Storm Chantal will pass to the southeast of the Cape during Tuesday morning. Some of the moisture from the Chantal remnants may be drawn into that frontal system.

This all means that Tuesday will be cloudy and quite humid. In addition, some widespread showers and scattered thunderstorms can be expected during the afternoon hours. Some of the heavier showers and thunderstorms will be capable of producing heavy downpours.

High temperatures will be near 80 Degrees. Winds will be West to Northwest at 7 to 14 mph.

Wednesday: We will be in-between weather systems on Wednesday.

This means that cloudy skies are expected on Wednesday, but it should be dry. High temperatures will be near 80 Degrees.

Thursday: Another frontal system is expected to push through the area during the day on Thursday bringing with it widespread showers throughout the day. High temperatures will be between 70 and 75 Degrees.

Friday: It’s possible that the frontal system might hang around through much of Friday bringing with it cloudy skies throughout the day. In addition, some scattered showers can be expected from time to time. High temperatures will be between 70 and 75 Degrees.
