Shower & Thunderstorm Activity May Hold Off Until Sunday Evening Across Western & Central Mass

The rest of this afternoon, tonight and perhaps a majority of Sunday looks fairly dry across Western and Central Mass.

A mixture of sunshine and clouds is expected throughout the Rest Of This Afternoon. It's possible that an isolated shower could occur across areas south of the Mass Pike after 5 pm, but a majority of the area should stay dry. Temperatures this afternoon will be around 75 Degrees. Winds the rest of this afternoon will be west at 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight: An isolated shower or two is possible across areas south of the Mass Pike between about 6 pm and 8 pm. Other than that, skies are expected to be partly cloudy tonight with low temperatures near 55 Degrees. Winds tonight will be west at 5 mph.

Sunday: Skies will start out partly sunny during the morning, but will be cloudy during the afternoon. It looks as though the shower and thunderstorm activity may hold off until Sunday evening with the daytime hours of Sunday staying dry. High temperatures Sunday will be near 75 Degrees. Winds on Sunday will be southwest at 10 to 20 mph.

Widespread showers and scattered thunderstorms look to overspread the area around the 6 to 8 pm time frame Sunday evening and then continue throughout the overnight hours of Sunday night. The shower and thunderstorm activity looks to come to an end around sunrise Monday morning (5 am). Low temperatures Sunday night will be between 60 and 65 Degrees.

Monday: Morning cloudiness looks to give way to sunshine by afternoon. High temperatures Monday will be between 80 and 85 Degrees.
