For Tonight: Any leftover rain showers will end by early this evening. Skies will then become partly cloudy during the after midnight hours of tonight.
Low temperatures will be near 30 Degrees. Winds will be West at 10 to 20 mph.
Friday: An area of high pressure will briefly control the weather during Friday leading to a day that features a mixture of sunshine and clouds.
High temperatures will be between 40 and 45 Degrees. Winds will be West at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30-35 mph.
Friday Night & Saturday: An area of low pressure is expected to pass over northern New England during the late night hours of Friday night through Saturday morning.
It appears that a majority of the moisture with this weather system will remain over northern New England
Still though, it appears that a period of light snow north of the Mass Pike and a light rain-snow mix near and south of the Mass Pike looks to occur beginning between about 8 pm and 10 pm Friday evening and continue through midnight Friday night before ending during the after midnight hours of Friday night. No snow accumulation is expected across areas near and south of the Mass Pike. For areas north of the Mass Pike, it appears that a slushy one inch or so of snow accumulation can be expected during Friday night.
Low temperatures Friday night will be between 30 and 35 Degrees. Winds will be South at 7 to 14 mph.
Saturday looks to be a cloudy day and there looks to be some scattered rain showers during the afternoon as a cold front pushes through the area. High temperatures will be near 45 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 10 to 20 mph in the morning and becoming West at 10 to 20 mph in the afternoon.
Sunday Through Tuesday: An area of high pressure is expected to build into the area on Sunday bringing with it a cold day under lots of sunshine. High temperatures will be between 20 and 25 Degrees.
Another sunny and cold day is expected on Monday as that high pressure system remains in control of the weather. High temperatures will be between 25 and 30 Degrees.
Partly sunny skies are expected on Tuesday with high temperatures between 40 and 45 Degrees.
Wednesday Through Next Thursday: A pretty robust low pressure system and its associated frontal boundary is expected to affect the area during Wednesday into Thursday of next week.
This means that rain looks quite possible from Wednesday right through Thursday of next week. In addition, the rain could be heavy at times during Wednesday night into Thursday.
High temperatures Wednesday will be between 45 and 50 Degrees. High temperatures Thursday will be near 50 Degrees.
