Rain is now falling across all of Western and Central Mass at the time of this post. The rain is falling at a moderate to heavy rate across the region. Even a thunderstorm has occurred here in Sturbridge over the past 30 minutes.

The rain is expected to continue through all of this afternoon and all of tonight. The rain is expected to fall at a moderate to heavy intensity at times during the rest of this morning through this afternoon & into this evening.

Temperatures this afternoon will be in the middle 60s & low temperatures tonight will be near 50 Degrees.

The rain is expected to come to an end by or just before sunrise Saturday morning. Saturday is then expected to be cloudy & I expect to see some scattered showers from time to time during the day. High temperatures will be between 55 and 60 Degrees.

Sunday looks cloudy & overall dry. That said, it is possible that there could be a very isolated shower in a couple of spots, but again most areas should stay dry on Sunday. High temperatures will be between 50 and 55 Degrees.
