Rain Is Expected Tonight With Scattered Showers Persisting Into Wednesday Across Western & Central Mass

For The Rest Of This Afternoon: Generally cloudy skies are expected throughout the rest of this afternoon. Temperatures will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Winds will be Southwest at 10 to 20 mph.


Tonight: A warm front is expected to lift northward across the region during tonight bringing with it a steady rain.


Rain is expected to overspread Western Mass between about 5 and 7 pm and then begin across Central Mass between about 6 and 8 pm. Rain is then expected to continue throughout the night tonight.


The rain looks to come to an end between about 3 am and 5 am Wednesday morning.


Total rainfall amounts tonight look to average between one quarter of an inch (0.25”) and one half of an inch (0.50”).


Low temperatures will be between 40 and 45 Degrees. Winds will be South to Southwest at 10 to 15 mph.


Wednesday: A pretty mild day is expected across the entire area as we wait for the passage of a cold front. This cold front will not reach the area until Wednesday evening.


Cloudy skies are expected throughout the day on Wednesday. In addition, some passing scattered showers can be expected from time to time.


High temperatures will be between 55 and 60 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 6 to 12 mph.


Wednesday Night: A cold front is expected to push through the area during the evening.


Scattered showers can be expected through midnight with skies becoming partly cloudy after midnight.


Low temperatures will be near 35 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 10 to 15 mph before midnight and West at 10 to 20 mph after midnight.


Thanksgiving Day: A quiet weather day is expected on Thanksgiving with a mixture of sunshine and clouds.


High temperatures will be between 40 and 45 Degrees. Winds will be West at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph.


Friday Through Sunday: No significant weather problems are anticipated for this upcoming Thanksgiving weekend.


A mixture of sunshine and clouds can be expected on Friday with high temperatures near 40 Degrees.


Saturday looks sunny to partly sunny with high temperatures between 35 and 40 Degrees.


Sunday is expected to be cloudy as a cold front begins to approach the area from the west. Any showers associated with this front probably will not reach the area until Sunday night and Monday. High temperatures Sunday will be between 40 and 45 Degrees.
