Rain, Heavy At Times, With Windy Conditions Are Expected Throughout Thursday & Thursday Night Across Western & Central Mass

For Tonight: A cloudy night is expected across the entire area. In addition to this, an onshore east to northeasterly wind flow will lead to areas of drizzle to occur during the after midnight hours of tonight.
Low temperatures will be between 40 and 45 Degrees. Winds will be East to Northeast at 5 to 10 mph.
Wednesday: A downright cold and raw day for late May is expected on Wednesday as that east to northeast wind flow remains in control of the weather.
Skies throughout the day on Wednesday will be cloudy and there will be areas of drizzle occurring from time to time.
High temperatures will be between 49 and 53 Degrees. Winds will be East to Northeast at 7 to 14 mph.
Wednesday Night: An area of low pressure is expected to begin to organize along the Mid-Atlantic coast during Wednesday night.
Skies throughout the night on Wednesday night will be cloudy. There is expected to be some scattered showers before midnight with rain beginning during the after midnight hours.
Low temperatures will be near 40 Degrees. Winds will be East at 7 to 14 mph.
Thursday & Thursday Night: That low pressure system is expected to track from the Mid-Atlantic coast to near the south coast of New England by late Thursday afternoon and then head into the Gulf of Maine by late Thursday night. This storm system looks to bring between 1 and 2 inches of rainfall across all of Western and Central Mass during Thursday and Thursday night.
Rain is expected throughout the day on Thursday and the rain may be heavy at times during the late morning and afternoon hours. It will be cold and raw with high temperatures struggling to reach 50 Degrees. It will also be windy with East to Northeast winds of 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph.
The rain is expected to continue throughout Thursday evening before it begins to taper off to scattered showers after midnight Thursday night. The rain may be heavy at times during Thursday evening. Low temperatures will be near 40 Degrees. Winds will be North to Northwest at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph.
Friday: Scattered showers are expected throughout much of the day on Friday as that storm system begins to pull away. High temperatures will be between 50 and 55 Degrees.
Memorial Day Weekend: Saturday looks cloudy with some scattered showers expected. High temperatures will be near 55 Degrees.
Sunday looks cloudy to start with, but skies will become partly sunny during the afternoon. High temperatures will be between 60 and 65 Degrees.
Memorial Day looks to feature partly sunny skies throughout the day. High temperatures will be between 65 and 70 Degrees.
