Quiet Weather Next Couple Of Days With Rain Expected Sunday Night & Monday Morning

For Tonight: Clear skies are expected tonight with low temperatures between 20 and 25 Degrees. Winds will be Northwest at 10 to 20 mph. Saturday: Quite a bit of sunshine can be expected throughout Saturday with high temperatures between 35 and 40 Degrees. Winds will be Northwest at 5 to 10 mph. Sunday: Skies are expected to start out sunny to partly sunny, but clouds are expected to be on the increase during the afternoon as an area of low pressure develops off of the Mid-Atlantic coast. High temperatures will be near 45 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 5 to 10 mph. Sunday Night & Monday: An area of low pressure is expected to track from off of the Mid-Atlantic coast Sunday evening to near the Cape during Monday morning. This storm system is expected to bring all rain to the entire area from just before midnight Sunday until about midday on Monday. So, rain will overspread the entire area just before midnight on Sunday night and then continue through after midnight hours of Sunday night. This rain will continue through Monday morning before ending around midday on Monday. I do think that the rain will be heavy at times between about 3 am and 9 am Monday. Total rainfall amounts of between three quarters of an inch (0.75”) and one inch (1.00”) can be expected. Once the rain ends around midday Monday, skies should remain cloudy throughout Monday afternoon. Low temperatures Sunday night will be near 35 Degrees. High temperatures Monday will be between 45 and 50 Degrees. For The Rest Of Next Week: A prolonged period of dry weather is expected during the middle and later parts of next week. It should be noted that a persistent northwesterly wind flow will usher in below average temperatures throughout next week. Tuesday looks sunny to partly sunny with high temperatures between 35 and 40 Degrees. Wednesday will be partly sunny with high temperatures between 35 and 40 Degrees. Thursday is expected to be sunny to partly sunny with high temperatures near 40 Degrees. Next Friday will be sunny with high temperatures between 35 and 40 Degrees.
