Tonight: An area of high pressure will control the weather throughout tonight. This means that skies tonight will be clear to partly cloudy with low temperatures between 25 and 30 Degrees. Winds will be North at 5 to 10 mph. Thanksgiving Day: That high pressure system will push off of the New England coastline during the day. Lots of sunshine with no weather related travel problems are expected on Thanksgiving. High temperatures will be near 45 Degrees. Winds will be North at 5 to 10 mph in the morning and Southwest at 5 to 10 mph during the afternoon. Thursday Night: A southwesterly wind flow will be in place across the region as an area of high pressure continues to move off of the New England coast and a frontal system approaches from the west. Skies will start out clear to partly cloudy during the evening with skies becoming cloudy after midnight. Low temperatures will be between 30 and 35 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 5 to 10 mph. Friday: That frontal system is expected to push through the region during the late morning and afternoon hours. Widespread showers are expected to overspread the region by late morning across Western Mass and around midday across Central Mass. The shower activity is expected to continue into Friday afternoon before ending first across Western Mass by about the 4 pm time frame and then across Central Mass around 5 pm or so. High temperatures will be between 45 and 50 Degrees around midday with temperatures falling into the low 40s by mid to late afternoon. Winds will be Southwest at 10 to 20 mph in the morning and West at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 to 35 mph during the afternoon. Saturday: An area of high pressure will build back into the area for Saturday with lots of sunshine expected. High temperatures will be between 45 and 50 Degrees. Sunday: An area of low pressure is expected to cross central and northern New England during Sunday afternoon and Sunday night bringing with it a period of rain. It looks like rain will occur throughout Sunday afternoon and Sunday evening before ending after midnight Sunday night. Rainfall amounts Sunday afternoon and Sunday evening look to average between one quarter (0.25”) and one half (0.50”) of an inch. High temperatures Sunday will be near 55 Degrees. Low temperatures Sunday night will be between 35 and 40 Degrees. Next Week’s Weather Outlook: The first half of next week looks fine in terms of weather. Monday and Tuesday both look sunny to partly sunny with high temperatures both days between 45 and 50 Degrees. Next Wednesday looks to start out partly sunny, but clouds will be on the increase during the afternoon. High temperatures will be near 45 Degrees. A frontal system looks to push through the region later next week bringing with it widespread shower activity next Wednesday night and next Thursday. A return to sunshine looks likely for next Friday. High temperatures next Thursday will be near 50 Degrees. High temperatures next Friday will be near 45 Degrees.
