For This Afternoon: A stubborn low pressure system located to the south of New England will give the area scattered showers that’ll be moving in a southeast to northwest direction. The area that’ll have the highest chance for showers will be near and south of the Mass Pike with gradually lowering chances for showers expected as you head northward into the Route 2 corridor. Temperatures this afternoon will be between 50 and 55 Degrees. Winds will be Northeast at 10 to 20 mph. Tonight: That low pressure system is expected to remain nearly stationary to the south of New England tonight. Moisture on the northern side of this storm system will stream northward into the area. Wednesday: It appears that the low pressure system will hang around for one last day on Wednesday before it finally pulls away.
