No Weather Issues Expected This Weekend Across Western & Central Mass

For The Rest Of This Afternoon: Plenty of sunshine is expected for the remainder of this afternoon with temperatures between 80 and 85 Degrees. Winds will be northwest at 5 mph. Tonight: An area of high pressure will control the weather tonight with clear to partly cloudy skies expected. Low temperatures will be between 55 and 60 Degrees. Winds will be southwest at 5 mph. Saturday: A mixture of sunshine and clouds are expected on Saturday. There may be a very minimal risk for an isolated shower or two during the afternoon. That said, a majority of the area will be dry throughout the day. High temperatures will be near 85 Degrees. Winds will be southwest at 8 to 16 mph. Sunday: Another day that features a mixture of sunshine and clouds along with the possibility of a very isolated shower or two during the afternoon is expected. It is expected to be more humid on Sunday with high temperatures near 85 Degrees. Winds will be southwest at 5 to 10 mph. Monday: A cold front is expected to push through the region late Monday into Monday night. This means that Monday will feature a mixture of some sunshine and lots of clouds. In addition, widespread showers with scattered thunderstorms are expected during the afternoon into Monday night. Heavy downpours and frequent lightning are expected to be the main threats with the thunderstorm activity. That said, there is a low chance for some of the thunderstorms to be strong to severe depending on how much heating we see on Monday and how strong the mid-level winds are. High temperatures will be near 85 Degrees with very humid conditions. Tuesday Through Next Friday: A prolonged summer pattern is expected throughout next week with heat and lots of humidity. Tuesday is expected to be partly sunny with high temperatures between 85 and 90 Degrees. Wednesday looks like it’ll be hazy, hot and humid and there is the possibility for some late day thunderstorms. The intensity of these thunderstorms will need to be watched closely. High temperatures will be between 90 and 95 Degrees. Thursday also looks hazy, hot and humid. In addition, a frontal boundary is expected to slide through the area during the late afternoon and evening hours of Thursday. This means that thunderstorms, some of which could be strong to severe are expected during late Thursday afternoon and Thursday evening. High temperatures Thursday will be between 90 and 95 Degrees. Continued very warm and humid conditions are expected next Friday with a mixture of sunshine and clouds anticipated. High temperatures will be between 85 and 90 Degrees. Looking Even Further Ahead: Unfortunately, the heat with lots of humidity are forecast to persist through all of next weekend with temperatures between 90 and 95 Degrees next Saturday and next Sunday.
