No Weather Issues Are Expected Across Western & Central Mass Through At Least This Weekend

This Afternoon: A pleasant afternoon is expected in terms of weather conditions with lots of sunshine expected and temperatures near 40 Degrees. Tonight: Clear skies and light winds are expected for tonight with low temperatures near 20 Degrees. Friday: Partly sunny skies are expected on Friday with high temperatures between 35 and 40 Degrees. This Weekend: Quiet weather is expected this weekend as a low pressure system passes well to our southeast. Plenty of sunshine is expected on both Saturday and Sunday with high temperatures both days near 35 Degrees. Looking Ahead To Next Week: The first half of next week looks quiet with no weather issues expected. At this point, it looks like an area of low pressure moving off of the North Carolina coast on Tuesday should stay far enough to our southeast to not produce any weather problems. With that said, it will be watched closely in case we see a shift in the storm track. Turning to late next week and next weekend, I still think we need to watch this period of time for the possibility of accumulating snow (between next Friday and next Sunday). An upper level trough of low pressure is expected to swing eastward into the Eastern United States and lead to the possibility for some sort of coastal low pressure system development. It’s not a sure thing by any means, but it is something to keep an eye on.
