No Relief In Sight For The Heat & Excessive Humidity Across Western & Central Mass

For Tonight: I wish I had better news for you in terms of any relief from the hot temperatures and the unbearably humid conditions, but unfortunately, hot and humid weather sticks around through at least the end of next week and possibly much longer.

The remnants of what was once Hurricane Beryl is producing a severe weather and tornado outbreak across western and northern New York State that will push into central and northern Vermont over the next few hours. All of these thunderstorms are expected to remain to our west and not be an issue for us.

Skies throughout tonight will be cloudy and there will be the possibility of a few showers around well after midnight.

It will feel very tropical tonight with low temperatures between 70 and 75 Degrees. Winds will be South at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph.

Thursday: Skies will start out cloudy during the morning and there may be a few showers around. Skies then will be partly sunny during the afternoon with humid conditions.

High temperatures will be between 85 and 90 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph.

Thursday Night: Another warm and very tropical night is expected on Thursday night under partly cloudy skies. Low temperatures will be between 65 and 70 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 10 to 20 mph.

Friday: A generally partly sunny day is expected on Friday and it will be warm and very humid.

High temperatures will be near 85 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 8 to 16 mph.

Friday Night & Saturday: A widespread rainfall is looking likely starting late Friday night and continuing into much of the day on Saturday. The cause for this rain looks to be a frontal boundary draped across the region combining with a tropical low pressure system crossing the region.

Widespread showers look to overspread the entire area during the after midnight hours of Friday night. These widespread showers, which will produce heavy downpours and localized flooding will continue through much of the day on Saturday. Also, an isolated thunderstorm or two is also a possibility at times during Saturday morning as a very humid air mass overrides a somewhat unstable atmosphere.

Low temperatures Friday night will be between 65 and 70 Degrees. High temperatures Saturday will be near 80 Degrees.

Sunday: Hot and humid weather returns for Sunday under sunny to partly sunny skies. High temperatures will be near 90 Degrees.
