This Afternoon: An area of high pressure will give the region plenty of sunshine throughout this afternoon. Temperatures will be between 65 and 70 Degrees. Winds will be West at 5 to 10 mph. Tonight: Clear to partly cloudy skies are expected for tonight with low temperatures between 45 and 50 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 5 to 10 mph. Sunday: That high pressure system will continue to control the weather throughout Sunday. This means that lots of sunshine can be expected with high temperatures near 65 Degrees. Winds will be West at 5 to 10 mph. Monday Through Tuesday: A frontal boundary is expected to push across the region by Monday night into Tuesday. It looks likely that a couple of waves of low pressure will ride along this front – one during Monday afternoon and a second during early Tuesday morning. Scattered showers are expected to overspread the entire region during Monday morning with the shower activity expected to continue through Monday afternoon. In addition, some isolated thunderstorm activity is possible during Monday afternoon. High temperatures Monday will be between 60 and 65 Degrees. Winds will be South at 5 to 10 mph. Turning to Monday night, scattered showers with an isolated thunderstorm risk is expected during the evening with widespread showers expected after midnight as that second low pressure system pushes through the area. Low temperatures will be near 45 Degrees. Showers are expected to persist into Tuesday morning before they come to an end during the late morning hours across Western Mass and then during the early afternoon hours across Central Mass. High temperatures Tuesday will be near 55 Degrees. Total rainfall amounts from Monday through Tuesday look to average around one half of an inch or so across the entire area. Wednesday Through Friday: A chillier air mass on a northwest wind flow is expected for the second half of next week. Wednesday is expected to feature a mixture of sunshine and clouds with high temperatures near 50 Degrees. Thursday looks partly sunny with high temperatures between 50 and 55 Degrees. Friday is expected to be partly sunny with high temperatures between 55 and 60 Degrees. Thank You: As always, I thank you for your continued support.
