Mixed Precipitation This Evening Changes To All Rain By Late Tonight; Rain Then Continues Through Friday Across Western & Central Mass

Precipitation in the form of rain and sleet is now beginning to move towards our area.

It looks likely that a mix of rain and sleet will overspread the entire area by 9 pm with mostly rain and sleet continuing through midnight before it changes to all rain. Some of the precipitation will change to snow at times across areas north of the Mass Pike where a slushy dusting of snow is expected through midnight.

During the after midnight hours of tonight, the mixed precipitation is expected to slowly change to all rain from south to north so that by sunrise, it'll be raining everywhere.

During Friday, on and off rain is expected throughout the morning with the rain stopping for a while during the early afternoon hours. A second round of rain then looks likely across mainly Central Mass during the late afternoon and early evening hours. All rain will come to an end by midnight Friday night.

Temperatures start out tonight in the low 30s, but will rise into the middle 30s by late tonight. High temperatures Friday will be between 40 and 45 Degrees.

A look at the weekend reveals that Saturday will start out cloudy, but will become sunny by afternoon. High temperatures will be between 30 and 35 Degrees. Sunday looks sunny throughout the day with high temperatures between 35 and 40 Degrees.
