Lots Of Sunshine Expected This Afternoon With Increasing Clouds On Tuesday Across Western & Central Mass

For This Afternoon: An area of high pressure will control the weather throughout this afternoon.

Lots of sunshine can be expected throughout this afternoon. Temperatures will be between 70 and 75 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 10 to 20 mph.

Tonight: Clear skies are expected during tonight with low temperatures between 45 and 50 Degrees. Winds will be West to Northwest at 7 to 14 mph.

Tuesday: Even though high pressure will continue to control the weather during Tuesday, an upper level low pressure system located over the Mid-Atlantic states will also try to influence our weather.

This means that skies will start out partly sunny in the morning. Clouds will be on the increase during the afternoon.

High temperatures will be between 65 and 70 Degrees. Winds will be East to Southeast at 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday & Thursday: That upper level low pressure system will weaken as it moves from the Mid-Atlantic states on Wednesday to the south of New England on Thursday.

Wednesday is expected to be a cloudy day with high temperatures around 65 Degrees. Winds will be Southeast at 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday night will be cloudy with a few showers possible. Low temperatures will be between 50 and 55 Degrees.

Thursday looks cloudy with a few showers possible. High temperatures will be near 70 Degrees.

Friday Through Sunday: A big upper level low pressure system located over the Great Lakes region will be the main weather controller for this upcoming weekend. This upper level low pressure system will drive two frontal systems into our area, one on Friday afternoon and Friday evening and the second during Saturday evening.

Friday looks to feature a mixture of some sunshine and lots of clouds. There will be some scattered showers and thunderstorms possible during the late afternoon and evening hours. High temperatures will be between 75 and 80 Degrees.
