Labor Day Weekend Weather Forecast For Western & Central Mass

For The Rest Of This Afternoon: An area of high pressure over our area will lead to lots of sunshine for the rest of this afternoon. Temperatures will be between 75 and 80 Degrees with very comfortable humidity levels. Winds will be East at 5 to 10 mph. Tonight: Another clear, cool and very comfortable night is expected across the area as high pressure continues to control the weather. Low temperatures will be between 50 and 55 Degrees. Winds will be South at 5 to 10 mph. Saturday: A sunny to partly sunny day with slightly warmer and slightly more humid conditions are expected. High temperatures will be between 80 and 85 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 5 to 10 mph. Sunday: A slow moving frontal system is expected to approach the region during the day on Sunday. Because of this, skies will start out partly sunny, but clouds will likely be on the increase during the afternoon. In addition, some scattered showers are expected during the afternoon. High temperatures will be between 80 and 85 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 5 to 10 mph. Labor Day & Tuesday: That frontal boundary will crawl through the region from Monday right through Tuesday. It is looking quite likely that this front will bring with it some widespread rainfall that’ll give the entire area some beneficial and much needed water. Labor Day is expected to be cloudy with widespread showers and there could be a few thunderstorms at times. High temperatures Monday will be between 70 and 75 Degrees. Widespread showers are expected to continue throughout all of Monday night and all of Tuesday. Low temperatures Monday night will be near 60 Degrees. High temperatures Tuesday will be near 70 Degrees. Rainfall totals from Labor Day through Tuesday are expected to average up to one inch with local amounts of up to two inches possible in the heavier shower and thunderstorm activity. Wednesday Through Next Friday: It appears that sunshine will make a return for the second half of next week. Wednesday, Thursday and next Friday all look sunny to partly sunny with high temperatures between 80 and 85 Degrees.
