Heavy Rain Will Come To An End Over The Next 1-2 Hours Or So

The back edge of the heavy rain that has been affecting all of Western and Central Mass throughout this morning is now pushing northeastward across Western Mass right now.

This means that heavy rain will continue to taper off to some lingering showers across Western Mass over the next hour or so.

For Central Mass, heavy rain will come to an end from southwest to northeast first across the western Worcester Hills into the I-84 corridor between about 11:30 am and 12 pm. This heavy rain will then end by about 12-12:30 pm in the Worcester Metro, as well as across I-190 & I-395. For areas across eastern Worcester County into the Route 146 corridor, the heavy rain will hang on until about 12:30-1 pm or so.

Once the heavy rain ends, we will be left with some lingering isolated to scattered showers throughout this afternoon.
