Heavy Rain Expected Late Tonight Across Western & Central Mass

A break in the rain is expected This Afternoon across the entire area. With that said, it’s going to be cloudy, cold and raw with maybe a few isolated showers around. Temperatures this afternoon will be between 40 and 45 Degrees. Winds this afternoon will be east at 10 to 20 mph. Rain moves back into the area by about midnight Tonight with the rain expected to continue after midnight tonight. The rain is expected to fall at a heavy rate at times after midnight tonight. The rain should come to an end around sunrise Friday morning. Rainfall amounts tonight will average around one half of an inch. Temperatures tonight will be near 40 Degrees. Winds tonight will be north at 6 to 12 mph. Friday is expected to feature a mixture of sunshine and clouds with high temperatures near 60 Degrees. Winds on Friday will be west at 7 to 15 mph. Turning To This Weekend – It appears that Saturday will feature a mixture of some sunshine and lots of clouds with scattered afternoon rain showers expected. High temperatures Saturday will be between 50 and 55 Degrees. Sunday also looks like it’ll feature a mixture of sun and clouds with the possibility of an isolated afternoon rain shower or two. High temperatures Sunday will be near 45 Degrees. Monday Through Wednesday: Monday is expected to feature more clouds than sunshine. In addition, it’ll be unusually cold for this time of year with high temperatures between 32 and 37 Degrees. Tuesday also looks cold for this time of year under partly sunny skies. High temperatures Tuesday will be between 35 and 40 Degrees. Wednesday looks like it’ll be milder under partly sunny skies. High temperatures Wednesday will be between 45 and 50 Degrees.
