Hazy Smoky Skies Will Continue This Afternoon With A Showery Day Expected On Sunday Across Western & Central Mass

For This Afternoon: Smoke from some Canadian wildfires will continue to affect the area throughout this afternoon. This means that the sky will continue to have a milky hazy look to it & there will be a smell of smoke in the air at times.
Skies this afternoon will be sunny to partly sunny, but as I already mentioned, it will be a hazy sunshine due to the smoky sky. Temperatures will be between 80 and 85 Degrees. Dew point temperatures will be between 50 and 55 Degrees. Winds will become Southwest at 5 to 10 mph.
Tonight: A warm front is expected to lift northward towards our area.
This means that skies will be clear to partly cloudy this evening with cloudy skies expected during the after midnight hours. Low temperatures will be near 60 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 6 to 12 mph.
Sunday: Cloudy skies are expected throughout the day on Sunday & it will be damp and humid.
In addition, some widespread showers can be expected throughout the morning. During the afternoon, it looks as if there will be some scattered showers and thunderstorms around, especially during the mid and late afternoon hours into the early evening hours. Any thunderstorms will be capable of producing heavy downpours.
High temperatures will be between 70 and 75 Degrees. Dew point temperatures will be around 65 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 6 to 12 mph.
Monday: A high pressure system is expected to build into the region for Monday.
This means that Monday will be sunny to partly sunny, hot and humid. High temperatures will be around 90 Degrees. Dew point temperatures will be between 65 and 70 Degrees. Winds will be West to Northwest at 5 to 10 mph.
Tuesday: Another hot and humid day is expected on Tuesday under lots of sunshine.
High temperatures will be between 90 and 95 Degrees. Dew point temperatures will be around 65 Degrees.
Wednesday Through Friday: A frontal system is expected to gradually sink into the area during Wednesday into Thursday. This front will end the heat and humidity & bring some Fall-Like weather into the region for the end of the week through next weekend.
Wednesday looks partly sunny with high temperatures between 80 and 85 Degrees. Dew point temperatures will be near 65 Degrees.
Thursday will be cloudy and there will be some on and off showers throughout the day. High temperatures will be between 75 and 80 Degrees. Dew point temperatures will be between 60 and 65 Degrees.
Friday looks sunny & much, much less humid. High temperatures will be near 75 Degrees. Dew point temperatures will be between 45 and 50 Degrees.
