For Tonight: High pressure will be in control of the weather for not only tonight, but throughout this weekend. Skies tonight will be partly cloudy with low temperatures between 40 and 45 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 10 to 20 mph. Saturday: Skies look to start out partly sunny on Saturday morning, but will become cloudy by late morning. Skies are then expected to be cloudy, but conditions will be dry throughout the afternoon on Saturday. High temperatures will be between 55 and 60 Degrees. Winds will be West at 5 to 10 mph. Sunday: A partly sunny day is expected on Sunday with high temperatures between 55 and 60 Degrees. Winds will be West at 5 to 10 mph. Next Week’s Weather Forecast: High pressure remains in control of the weather throughout Monday with partly sunny skies expected and high temperatures between 50 and 55 Degrees. A frontal system is expected to push through the region during Tuesday bringing with it cloudy skies along with some scattered rain showers. High temperatures Tuesday will be near 60 Degrees. As we get into the middle part of next week, the weather pattern looks to become more complex as that frontal system stalls just to our south and an area of low pressure rides along the front into our area. We’re going to have to keep an eye on how much cold air drains southward into the region as this is going to play a role into precipitation type across the region. For now, it appears that Wednesday will feature sunny to partly sunny skies with increasing clouds expected late in the day. High temperatures will be between 50 and 55 Degrees. Rain moves in during Wednesday night with the rain continuing through Thursday. That said, it’s possible that the rain will mix with snow and sleet at times across the Berkshires and across the Worcester Hills (especially the northern Worcester Hills) late Wednesday night and during Thursday. Low temperatures Wednesday night will be between 30 and 35 Degrees. High temperatures Thursday will be between 40 and 45 Degrees. Turning to next Friday, it appears that lots of clouds will remain across the region. In addition, it’s possible that some scattered rain showers could occur during the afternoon. High temperatures will be between 45 and 50 Degrees.
