Dank, Dreary & Drizzly Weather Expected This Afternoon Through Thu; Heavy Rain Expected Thu Night

For The Rest Of Today: Steady rain near and south of the Mass Pike and periods of light rain north of the Mass Pike will come to an end around midday. For this afternoon, I expect cloudy skies with drizzly and dreary conditions. Temperatures the rest of today will be near 45 Degrees. Winds will be northeast at 7 to 15 mph. Tonight: Cloudy, drizzly and dreary conditions will continue throughout tonight. Low temperatures tonight will be between 35 and 40 Degrees. Winds tonight will be northeast at 7 to 15 mph. Thursday: Much more clouds than sunshine is expected throughout the day on Thursday. In addition to this, it appears that rain will overspread Western Mass by mid-afternoon with this rain pushing into Central Mass by about 4 pm or so. High temperatures on Thursday will be between 50 and 55 Degrees. Winds on Thursday will be East at 10 to 20 mph. Thursday Night: An area of low pressure is expected to track from near the New Jersey coast on Thursday evening to the eastern parts of New England late Thursday night. Rain is expected throughout Thursday evening and it will be heavy at times. A few thunderstorms are also possible during Thursday evening. This rain is expected to taper off to scattered showers just after midnight Thursday night. Total rainfall amounts of up to one inch can be expected on Thursday night. Low temperatures Thursday night will be between 40 and 45 Degrees. Winds on Thursday night will be East at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph. Friday: Unsettled weather conditions will persist throughout Friday with cloudy skies expected along with some scattered showers. High temperatures on Friday will be between 60 and 65 Degrees. Winds on Friday will be southeast at 7 to 15 mph during the morning and west at 8 to 16 mph during the afternoon. This Weekend: Unsettled weather looks to continue this weekend. Saturday looks cloudy with widespread showers expected. High temperatures Saturday will be between 55 and 60 Degrees. Sunday is expected to be partly sunny with scattered showers. High temperatures Sunday will be between 50 and 55 Degrees. Next Week: Warmer weather looks to be in the offing for next week as we get into a more southwesterly wind flow. Monday looks partly sunny with high temperatures between 55 and 60 Degrees. Tuesday is expected to be partly sunny with high temperatures near 65 Degrees. Wednesday looks partly sunny with high temperatures between 65 and 70 Degrees. Thursday is expected to be partly sunny with high temperatures between 65 and 70 Degrees. Friday looks cloudy with scattered showers as a cold front pushes through the area. High temperatures Friday will be near 65 Degrees.
