For This Afternoon: Any leftover light snow will be done by midday. This means that we will be left with cloudy skies with some peeks of sunshine expected this afternoon. Temperatures this afternoon will fall through the 20s. Tonight & Friday: An area of high pressure will push its way into New England tonight and Friday. This means that much colder air will move back into the area for tonight and Friday. Skies tonight will be partly cloudy with low temperatures near 5 Degrees. Friday will be a sunny and cold day with high temperatures between 15 and 20 Degrees. Friday Night & Saturday: An area of high pressure will continue to control our weather while an area of low pressure tracks well southeast of New England during Saturday. Clear to partly cloudy skies are expected on Friday night with low temperatures near 5 Degrees. Saturday looks to be a partly sunny day with high temperatures between 20 and 25 Degrees. Sunday: High pressure will continue to control our weather during Sunday with partly sunny skies expected. High temperatures Sunday will be between 30 and 35 Degrees. Monday Through Wednesday: A cold weather pattern will persist across the area right through next week. The next chance for any accumulating snow looks to be on Tuesday as an area of low pressure tracks right across the area. Monday is expected to be sunny with high temperatures between 25 and 30 Degrees. Some snow is possible on Tuesday with high temperatures near 30 Degrees. At this point, this looks to be about a 1 to 3 inch type snowfall, but it’s something that I’ll be watching. A return to sunshine is expected for Wednesday with high temperatures between 30 and 35 Degrees.
