Another Day Of “Cool” Temperatures & Comfortable Humidity Levels Is Expected On Friday Across Western & Central Mass

For Tonight: Cloudy skies can be expected throughout tonight. In addition, a few scattered showers are expected from time to time. Low temperatures will be near 55 Degrees. Winds will be East to Northeast at 5 to 10 mph.

Friday looks very similar to what today has been like. I expect lots of cloudiness around throughout the day. There may be a few showers around, especially during the morning.

High temperatures will be between 65 and 70 Degrees. Winds will be East to Southeast at 5 to 10 mph.

This Weekend: All may not be lost in terms of weather for this weekend. This means do not cancel any outdoor plans for rain, just yet.

An area of low pressure is expected to track across northern New England on Saturday before heading into Atlantic Canada on Sunday. The big question in regards to the weekend forecast is where will the steadiest rain occur. Weather forecast guidance seems to suggest the steady rain will occur across Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine while most of our area sees more of a showery type scenario. That said, this is not a sure thing and it’s quite possible that the shower activity on Saturday could be quite widespread in nature.

For now, I’m going with cloudy skies all day Saturday and I do think that there could be some scattered showers around, especially in the morning. High temperatures will be near 70 Degrees. Winds on Saturday will be Southwest at 6 to 12 mph.

Sunday looks to be the better weather day this coming weekend. Skies on Sunday look to feature a mixture of sunshine and clouds with high temperatures near 80 Degrees.

Monday Through Wednesday: Warm and humid weather looks to return to the area during the first half of next week. That said, the heat and humidity next week will not be anywhere near as bad as what just occurred this week.

Monday looks partly sunny, warm and humid with high temperatures between 80 and 85 Degrees.

Tuesday looks to feature a mixture of sunshine and clouds. It is also expected to be warm and humid. A cold front is expected to push through the area bringing with it some scattered showers and thunderstorms during Tuesday afternoon. High temperatures will be near 85 Degrees.

Wednesday looks partly sunny, warm and a little less humid. High temperatures will be near 85 Degrees.
