For This Afternoon: The snow showers that have occurred this morning have left about one quarter to one half of an inch of snow accumulation over many areas of Western and Central Mass. Not much by any means, but just enough to make it look festive.
Any leftover snow showers will end by early afternoon. Some clearing looks likely by late this afternoon.
Temperatures this afternoon will be around 35 Degrees. Winds will be West to Southwest at 5 to 10 mph.
Tonight: Clear to partly cloudy skies are expected throughout tonight. Low temperatures will be between 20 and 25 Degrees. Winds will be West at 6 to 12 mph.
Sunday: Skies will start out sunny during Sunday morning with cloudy skies expected during Sunday afternoon.
High temperatures will be between 35 and 40 Degrees. Winds will be West at 5 to 10 mph.
Sunday Night: An Arctic cold front is expected to drop southward and move through the area during the overnight hours of Sunday night. This front looks to bring with it some scattered snow showers to the area during the after midnight hours of Sunday night.
Low temperatures will be between 14 and 19 Degrees. Winds will be West at 10 to 15 mph before midnight and West to Northwest at 15 to 20 mph after midnight.
Monday: A shot of some pretty cold temperatures are expected during the day on Monday.
Skies during Monday will be sunny with high temperatures around 25 Degrees. Winds will be Northwest at 15 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph.
Tuesday: Another cold day is expected on Tuesday under mostly cloudy skies.
High temperatures will be near 30 Degrees.
Wednesday Through Friday: It appears that a frontal system may pass through the area during Wednesday afternoon and evening. This front looks to bring some scattered snow and rain showers to the entire area during the afternoon and evening of Wednesday. High temperatures will be near 40 Degrees.
Thursday looks mostly cloudy as that front moves to the east. High temperatures will be between 40 and 45 Degrees.
We might have to watch things closely for Friday as there are signals in the data that suggests a low pressure system may track near or right over Southern New England during the day on Friday. Depending on temperatures and the exact track of this storm, we might be looking at either a rain-snow mix or all snow to fall across the entire area during the day on Friday. We are still 6 days away from this storm possibly occurring and lots can and will change between now and then. Just know that I’m going to be watching Friday’s system closely and will have updates as needed. High temperatures will be between 35 and 40 Degrees.

🥹😭 Where's the heatwave?
