An Absolutely Beautiful Weather Day Expected Friday With A Washout Expected On Saturday

For This Afternoon: Scattered showers are expected this afternoon across the entire area. Temperatures this afternoon will be between 50 and 55 Degrees. Winds this afternoon will be south at 5 to 10 mph. Tonight: Any leftover showers will end very early this evening with skies becoming partly cloudy late tonight. Low temperatures tonight will be near 45 Degrees. Winds tonight will be north at 5 mph. Friday: An absolutely fantastic and beautiful weather day is expected on Friday. Skies on Friday will be sunny to partly sunny with high temperatures between 70 and 75 Degrees. Winds on Friday will be west at 5 to 10 mph. FYI – The record high temperature for Friday in Worcester is 74 Degrees set in 2012. The record high temperature for Friday in Springfield is 72 Degrees set in 2012. Both of these records could either be tied or broken on Friday. This Weekend: Saturday looks like it will be a washout. Rain is expected to begin just before dawn on Saturday morning. The rain is then expected to continue all day Saturday and into Saturday evening. Rain will come to an end near midnight Saturday night. All-in-all, it looks like rainfall amounts on Saturday will average between one half of an inch and one inch. High temperatures Saturday will be between 50 and 55 Degrees. Winds on Saturday will be southeast at 8 to 16 mph. Sunday also looks less than ideal with lots of clouds expected with some scattered showers possible during the afternoon. High temperatures Sunday will be between 55 and 60 Degrees. Next Week’s Weather Outlook: Sunny to partly sunny skies are expected on both Monday and Tuesday with high temperatures both days between 50 and 55 Degrees. A robust storm system is expected to push northeastward towards the area during the middle part of the week. So, Wednesday looks cloudy with rain expected during Wednesday afternoon and Wednesday night. High temperatures Wednesday will be near 45 Degrees. Low temperatures Wednesday night will be near 35 Degrees. Thursday looks wet with rain expected all day long with high temperatures between 45 and 50 Degrees. Turning to next Friday, skies are expected to be partly sunny as a high pressure system pushes into the area. High temperatures next Friday will be near 50 Degrees.
