For This Afternoon: Cloudy skies with cool and windy conditions will continue across the region this afternoon as an annoying low pressure system hangs out to the south of New England. Temperatures will be between 50 and 55 Degrees. Winds will be Northeast at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph. Tuesday & Tuesday Night: It appears that our stubborn low pressure system will push northwestward and then westward causing it to come a little closer to our area. This means that skies on Tuesday and Tuesday night will be cloudy. In addition, some showers are expected to lift northward into the entire area during the afternoon. Showers are then expected to continue through Tuesday night. In fact, some steady rain is a possibility across areas near and south of the Mass Pike after midnight Tuesday night.
