For This Afternoon: Beautiful weather is expected for outdoor activities throughout this afternoon.

Skies will be partly sunny with temperatures between 73 and 78 Degrees. Winds will be Northwest at 10 to 20 mph.

Tonight: Clear skies are expected and temperatures will be comfortable enough to sleep with the windows open. Low temperatures will be between 55 to 60 Degrees. Winds will be West to Northwest at 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday: Warmer temperatures with comfortable humidity levels will make for another really nice day for outdoor activities on Saturday.

Skies will be sunny to partly sunny with high temperatures near 85 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 5 to 10 mph.

Sunday: A hot and humid Sunday is expected under generally partly sunny skies. High temperatures will be between 88 and 93 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 10 to 20 mph.

Monday: Partly sunny skies with hot and humid conditions can be expected throughout the day on Monday. High temperatures will be near 90 Degrees.

Tuesday & Wednesday: An upper level trough of low pressure is expected to set up across the Midwestern United States by the middle part of next week. The position of this trough will put our area in a warm and humid southwesterly wind flow. In addition to this, we are going to have to keep an eye on the moisture associated with a developing tropical system currently located off of the coast of northeast Florida. This tropical system, which will likely become a tropical storm before it makes landfall along the South Carolina coast on Sunday morning, is expected to head northeastward and pass near or to the east of the Cape around Tuesday night and Wednesday. Depending on the exact of this tropical system, rain could affect our area sometime during Tuesday and Tuesday night.

For now, Tuesday and Tuesday night both are expected to be cloudy and there will be widespread showers and scattered thunderstorms. Locally heavy rainfall is a possibility due to the very tropical air mass that is expected. High temperatures Tuesday will be between 75 and 80 Degrees. Low temperatures Tuesday night will be near 65 Degrees.

Leftover showers are expected during at least the first half of Wednesday. It will also continue to be humid with high temperatures near 80 Degrees.

I wanted to repost what I wrote on Wednesday -

First off, I would like to thank each and every one of you for following me here at Route 20 Weather. Without you, the loyal Route 20 Weather follower, I would not be doing what I love to do - Forecasting the weather for Western & Central Mass.

I am writing this to ask for your help as we continue to have difficulties getting our bills paid. The reason for this is due to the cost of utilities, groceries, housing and other expenses. I want to add that we have significantly cut back on many things, but even with this, our financial situation right now is concerning.

To help us out with expenses, I hope you might send a donation our way (PayPal or Venmo).
