For The Rest Of Today: A weak cold front now located across central New England will push across our area by this afternoon. This front is moisture starved and thus the rest of the day today will be dry. Skies for the rest of today will be partly sunny with temperatures near 55 Degrees. West winds are expected to gust up to 30 mph at times the rest of today.
Tonight Through Tuesday: Some mid to upper level moisture will work into Western and Central Mass during tonight and Tuesday. In addition, a weak cold front will pass through the area during Tuesday afternoon.
All of this means that skies tonight will start out partly cloudy, but will become cloudy late tonight. Low temperatures tonight will be between 35 and 40 Degrees.
Tuesday will feature a mixture of some sunshine and lots of clouds with high temperatures between 50 and 55 Degrees.
Tuesday Night Through Thursday: The first widespread hard frost and freeze of the season looks very likely for Tuesday night with low temperatures between 30 and 35 Degrees under partly cloudy skies.
Wednesday is expected to be a partly sunny day with high temperatures between 45 and 50 Degrees.
Wednesday night is expected to be clear with low temperatures between 25 and 30 Degrees. This means that if a frost or freeze doesn’t affect you on Tuesday night, it most likely will on Wednesday night and I think that the growing season will end on Wednesday night.
Thursday is expected to be a sunny to partly sunny day with high temperatures between 45 and 50 Degrees.
Friday Through Sunday: A couple of low pressure systems are expected to move off of the Mid-Atlantic coast on Friday into Saturday. It is looking increasingly more possible that this storm system may pass far enough offshore of the New England coast to spare us any significant rain or snow.
At this point, it appears that Friday will be partly sunny with high temperatures between 45 and 50 Degrees.
On Friday night, skies will vary from partly cloudy north of the Mass Pike to cloudy near and south of the Mass Pike. In addition, some very light rain is possible across far southeastern parts of Worcester County (Millbury, Northbridge and Uxbridge). Low temperatures will be near 35 Degrees.
Saturday is expected to be partly sunny with high temperatures between 45 and 50 Degrees.
Sunday looks sunny with high temperatures between 45 and 50 Degrees.
