Thunderstorms now stretch from the I-190 corridor southward through the Worcester Metro and then southwestward into Sturbridge and Southbridge & along I-84. These storms continue to head in a east-southeasterly direction at a forward speed of about 30 mph.

It is expected that areas along I-190, the Worcester Metro to Sturbridge, Southbridge and Charlton will continue to be impacted by the storms over the next 30-45 minutes with torrential downpours and lightning.

These storms will then affect areas around I-395 and Route 146 by about 6:30-6:45 pm and then last until about 7:15-7:30 pm. Again, these storms will mainly produce heavy downpours and lightning.

All storms should push out of all of the area between 7:30 and 8 pm and we should then be done with thunderstorms for the evening.
