3 To 4 Inches Of Snow Accumulation Expected From Late Tuesday Afternoon To Thursday Morning

This Afternoon Through Tonight: An area of high pressure will continue to control our weather this afternoon and tonight. This means that lots of sunshine can be expected this afternoon with temperatures around 30 Degrees. Clear to partly cloudy skies are expected tonight with low temperatures near 15 Degrees. 3 To 4 Inches Of Snow Accumulation Expected From Late Tuesday Afternoon To Thursday Morning: Snow is expected across the entire area starting late Tuesday afternoon and continuing through Tuesday night, Wednesday, Wednesday night and even Thursday morning. Most of the snow accumulation on the order of 3 to 4 inches is expected during Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. An area of low pressure is expected to head northeastward across the upper Ohio Valley into western New York State on Tuesday before heading into northern New England late Tuesday night and Wednesday. This will lead to a warm front being pulled across the region leading to accumulating snow across the entire area. It should be noted that this entire weather feature looks a bit stronger than what was previously thought. Snow is expected to overspread Western Mass between 3 and 5 pm and then move into Central Mass between 4 and 6 pm Tuesday. Snow is then expected to continue through all of Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. Light intermittent snow is then expected throughout Wednesday afternoon and even Wednesday night as a trough of low pressure extends back into the region. In addition, there is the possibility that some light snow could continue for a while on Thursday morning before finally coming to an end. As for snow accumulations, it appears that 3 to 4 inches of accumulation is expected by the time the snow is finished on Thursday morning after starting on late Tuesday afternoon. Again, a majority of that accumulation is expected to occur in about a 12 to 15 hour period during Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. High temperatures Tuesday will be between 30 and 35 Degrees. Low temperatures Tuesday night will be between 25 and 30 Degrees. High temperatures Wednesday will be between 30 and 35 Degrees. Low temperatures Wednesday night will be near 25 Degrees. High temperatures Thursday will be near 30 Degrees.
