11:45 am Tuesday Morning Weather Update For Western & Central Mass

Just as the first wave of moderate to heavy rain has pushed out of the area, it appears that another round of showers with locally heavy rain is now pushing into far northwestern Mass.

This round of widespread showers, which will have areas of heavy rain, will push southeastward across all of Western and Central Mass over the next couple of hours.

This means that it'll begin raining hard again across most areas of Western and Central Mass within the next 30-45 minutes or so. This rain is then expected to last until about 1:30 pm across Western Mass and until about 2 pm or so across a majority of Central Mass.

In addition to the locally heavy rain, a rumble or two of thunder is also possible as these showers push through.
