Lots Of Wet Weather Is Expected The Rest Of This Week Through The Weekend Across Western & Central Mass

For Tonight: An area of high pressure will push off to the east during tonight while an area of low pressure moves due north along the Mid-Atlantic coast.

Skies will become completely cloudy by midnight tonight with cloudy skies then expected during the after midnight hours of tonight. Low temperatures will be between 35 and 40 Degrees. Winds will be Northeast at 5 to 10 mph.

Tuesday & Tuesday Night: That low pressure system is expected to track from the northern Mid-Atlantic states during the morning and across Southern New England during the afternoon.

On and off rain, which should be generally light in intensity is expected to overspread the region from south to north between 8 am and 11 am Tuesday morning. Occasional light rain then looks to continue through all of Tuesday afternoon and all of Tuesday evening.

Light rain then comes to an end by midnight Tuesday night.

Total rainfall amounts from Tuesday through Tuesday evening will average between one quarter of an inch (0.25”) and one half of an inch (0.50”).

High temperatures Tuesday will be near 45 Degrees. Temperatures on Tuesday night will remain around 45 Degrees. Winds Tuesday will be Northeast at 5 to 10 mph. Winds Tuesday night will be South at 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday Through Thursday: A heavier rainfall is looking likely across the entire area during Wednesday night and Thursday as a coastal storm system tracks across Southern New England.

Rain will once again overspread the entire area during Wednesday afternoon with rain, heavy at times, expected throughout Wednesday night and much of Thursday.

Current indications seem to point towards rainfall totals will be between 1 and 2 inches across the entire area.

High temperatures Wednesday will be near 55 Degrees. Low temperatures Wednesday night will be between 40 and 45 Degrees. High temperatures Thursday will be between 45 and 50 Degrees.

Friday: Friday looks to be an actual nice day with partly sunny skies expected. High temperatures will be between 45 and 50 Degrees.

This Coming Weekend: Yet another low pressure system crossing our area may bring yet another heavy rainfall event from Saturday afternoon right through all of Sunday. Possible rainfall amounts of another 1 to 2 inches are a possibility.

High temperatures Saturday will be between 40 and 45 Degrees. Low temperatures Saturday night will be between 35 and 40 Degrees. High temperatures Sunday will be near 45 Degrees.
