For The Rest Of Today: An area of high pressure extends from Quebec province into New England will control our weather throughout the rest of today. Skies for the rest of today will feature a mixture of sunshine and clouds. High temperatures this afternoon will be near 65 Degrees.
Tonight: A weak warm front will progress eastward towards our area tonight. This means that skies will be cloudy tonight. In addition, there may be a very isolated shower or two after midnight, especially across northern Worcester County and across the upper Pioneer Valley of Western Mass. Low temperatures tonight will be between 50 and 55 Degrees.
Tuesday: That warm front will continue pushing through New England on Tuesday. Cloudy skies with the possibility of a leftover shower or two is expected during Tuesday morning with some partial sunshine likely during Tuesday afternoon. High temperatures Tuesday will be between 70 and 75 Degrees.
Tuesday Night: A southwesterly wind flow will push milder and more humid air into Western and Central Mass during Tuesday night.
Skies on Tuesday night will be cloudy and there will be some scattered shower activity, especially across the upper Pioneer Valley and across northern Worcester County. Low temperatures Tuesday night will be near 65 Degrees with humid conditions.
Wednesday: A cold front will slowly move southward across southern New England during Wednesday bringing a fairly wet day to Western and Central Mass. In addition, there could be a large temperature difference from north to south across Western and Central Mass depending on which side of the front you are on.
Cloudy skies are expected on Wednesday and there will be scattered shower activity throughout the day.
Temperatures on Wednesday will be highly dependent on how quickly the cold front pushes through the area. A slower moving frontal passage would mean high temperatures could be in the 80s across much of Western and Central Mass. On the other hand, a quicker moving frontal passage would mean temperatures on Wednesday will remain near 70 Degrees.
For now, I think that high temperatures Wednesday will range from 70 to 75 Degrees across the upper Pioneer Valley and across northern Worcester County to between 75 and 80 Degrees across the lower Pioneer Valley and southern Worcester County, including all areas along the Mass Pike.
Thursday & Thursday Night: An area of low pressure is expected to push across New York State during Thursday and push across southern New England during Thursday night.
Widespread showers are expected to overspread Western and Central Mass during Thursday afternoon with a steady rain expected for a while on Thursday night. Rainfall amounts of between one half of an inch (0.50) and one inch (1.00) looks likely during Thursday afternoon and Thursday night.
It will actually be chilly on Thursday with high temperatures near 55 Degrees. Chilly, raw and damp weather is likely Thursday night with low temperatures near 45 Degrees.
Friday: Cloudy skies with leftover scattered showers are expected on Friday morning with increasing sunshine expected on Friday afternoon. High temperatures Friday will be between 55 and 60 Degrees.
Saturday Through Sunday: An area of high pressure will build across the region on Saturday giving us a sunny day. High temperatures Saturday will be near 60 Degrees.
Clear skies are expected on Saturday night with low temperatures between 35 and 40 Degrees. There is the possibility for some isolated frost late Saturday night and early Sunday morning in the deeper valley locations.
Sunday is expected to be a sunny to partly sunny day with high temperatures between 65 and 70 Degrees.
