The heat and humidity will be on the increase during Thursday with partly sunny skies expected. It looks dry throughout Thursday, just increasingly more humid. High temperatures will be between 80 and 85 Degrees. Winds during Thursday will be Southwest at 10 to 15 mph.
Friday looks much different for weather as I'm going to be closely watching an approaching frontal system that has the potential to bring thunderstorms, some of which may be strong to severe during the late afternoon and evening hours.
A line of showers and thunderstorms are expected to push east-southeastward first into Western Mass by about mid-afternoon Friday.
These showers and thunderstorms are then anticipated to push into Central Mass by about the 5-8 pm time frame Friday evening.
It looks likely that showers and thunderstorms will then persist during Friday evening, especially across Central Mass before coming to an end around midnight Friday night.
I do think that we will need to keep a close eye on the intensity of the thunderstorms as at least a few of the thunderstorms may be on the strong to severe side. Main threat would be 50-60 mph wind gusts, torrential downpours and frequent lightning.
Friday does look warm and humid with high temperatures of near 85 Degrees. Winds during the day Friday will be Southwest at 10 to 20 mph.
This Weekend: The good news is that the weekend looks nice with sunshine expected on both Saturday and Sunday. High temperatures both days will be near 75 Degrees with low humidity values. Heat & Humidity In Store For Next Week: Unfortunately, it looks like some hot and humid weather may be in store from Tuesday right through Saturday of next week. High temperatures on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday will be around 90 Degrees or so and it does look humid.
