Friday: A strong low pressure system moving from the upper Great Lakes into Quebec, Canada will bring a showery, windy and mild day on Friday. Some of the showers could be heavy in intensity and it is not out of the question that we could have a rumble or two of thunder. High temperatures Friday will be between 55 and 59 Degrees. This Weekend & Beyond: This weekend’s weather looks generally sunny with high temperatures Saturday between 45 and 50 Degrees and high temperatures Sunday near 40 Degrees.

The weather for next week looks “interesting” as we may turn back to winter for a while just as we move towards the first day of Spring. There are strong signals in the weather data that suggest that we are going to have to watch for a possible coastal storm during the middle part of next week (March 20 or 21). Should this storm track close enough to us, it could bring accumulating snow to our area next Wednesday or next Thursday. Way too early to talk specifics and at this point, it is just something to keep an eye on.
