This Afternoon: An area of high pressure will control our weather for the next couple of days. This means that plenty of sunshine is expected for this afternoon (it’s about time!!!) with high temperatures near 70 Degrees.
Tonight: Clear skies and light winds are expected for tonight with low temperatures between 34 and 39 Degrees.
Thursday: That high pressure system will continue to control our weather throughout Thursday. This means that skies will be partly sunny during the morning with increasing clouds during Thursday afternoon. All-in-all though, it is expected to be a dry day. High temperatures Thursday will be between 61 and 66 Degrees.
Friday: A warm front will push northward across southern New England during Friday with a cold front then expected to move across the area during Friday night.
This means that widespread showers are expected throughout Friday with shower activity persisting through Friday evening. In addition, the atmosphere may become somewhat unstable, especially across Western Mass, during Friday afternoon and Friday evening. This means that a couple of thunderstorms are possible during the mid and late afternoon hours of Friday as well as during Friday evening.
High temperatures Friday will be around 60 Degrees. Low temperatures Friday night will be between 50 and 55 Degrees.
Saturday: High pressure will build back into the area on Saturday with partly sunny skies expected throughout the day. High temperatures Saturday will be near 65 Degrees.
Sunday Through Monday: An area of low pressure will move just to the south of southern New England during Sunday night and Monday. This means that cloudy skies and a cool, damp easterly wind flow are expected on both Sunday and Monday. In addition, on and off rain can be expected throughout Sunday, Sunday night and Monday.
High temperatures Sunday will be between 55 and 60 Degrees. Low temperatures Sunday night will be near 45 Degrees. High temperatures Monday will be near 55 Degrees.
