On & Off Showers Next Couple Of Days With The Warmest Day So Far This Year Expected Thursday

For Tonight: A cold front will sink southward into the area this evening. The passage of this front will cause the wind direction to become easterly and for temperatures to fall into the 40s. In addition to this, expect areas of fog and drizzle tonight along with some isolated showers. Wednesday: A high pressure system over New Hampshire and western Maine will produce an easterly wind flow throughout the day Wednesday. This means that Wednesday will be a raw and downright chilly day. Skies will be cloudy and there will be areas of drizzle and fog. In addition, some isolated showers are expected during the morning with scattered showers expected during the afternoon. High temperatures will be between 40 and 45 Degrees. Winds will be East at 10 to 20 mph. Wednesday Night: An area of low pressure is expected to lift northeastward to the north of the central Great Lakes region during Wednesday night. This will lead to a warm front to gradually lift northward through the region during the overnight hours. This means that skies on Wednesday night will be cloudy and there will be occasional rain throughout the night. Temperatures will be steady in the low to mid 40s. Winds will be East at 5 to 10 mph before midnight and will become South at 5 to 10 mph after midnight. Thursday: With a warm front located well to our north and a cold front located to the west, Thursday looks to be the warmest day so far this year with high temperatures around 70 Degrees expected. There’s likely to be scattered shower from time to time throughout the day Thursday. In addition, some isolated thunderstorms may accompany the cold front as it moves through the region around mid to late afternoon. Friday Through This Weekend: An area of high pressure will build over the region throughout this weekend. Friday looks partly sunny with high temperatures between 50 and 55 Degrees. Saturday also looks partly sunny with high temperatures between 50 and 55 Degrees. Easter Sunday is expected to be sunny to partly sunny with high temperatures between 55 and 60 Degrees.
