On & Off Showers Expected The Rest Of Today; Drier Weather Expected Wednesday

For The Rest Of Today: A large area of showers is about to enter western Mass and will impact much of Western and Central Mass from late this morning into this afternoon. Overall, the shower activity is expected to be scattered in nature, however, widespread showers are expected across areas south of the Mass Pike.

In addition, a thunderstorm or two is possible late this afternoon with the main threat from any thunderstorms being locally heavy rainfall.

High temperatures this afternoon will be between 70 and 75 Degrees.

Tonight: Some leftover scattered showers and a possible thunderstorm or two is expected this evening with showers ending by midnight. Cloudy skies are expected after midnight tonight.

Low temperatures tonight will be around 60 Degrees.

Wednesday: An overall cloudy day is expected on Wednesday, however, some breaks in the clouds could reveal some sunshine at times. In addition, even though most of the day Wednesday will be dry, a pop up shower or two is possible, primarily during the afternoon.

High temperatures Wednesday will be around 80 Degrees.

Thursday into Friday: A strong piece of atmospheric energy will move through Western and Central Mass from Thursday afternoon to Friday morning. This weather system will bring with it quite a bit in the way of shower activity, as well as some embedded thunderstorms on Thursday afternoon, Thursday night and Friday morning.

The shower activity is expected to end by Friday afternoon.

High temperatures Thursday will be near 75 Degrees. Low temperatures Thursday night will be near 60 Degrees. High temperatures Friday will be between 70 and 75 Degrees.

Saturday Through Sunday: A nice weekend is expected for weather across Western and Central Mass. Plenty of sunshine is expected on both Saturday and Sunday. High temperatures Saturday will be between 75 and 80 Degrees. High temperatures Sunday will be between 78 and 83 Degrees.

Monday: A cold front will approach the area from the west on Monday.

So, Monday will start out sunny to partly sunny, however, a few showers and thunderstorms are possible later Monday afternoon as that cold front approaches.

High temperatures Monday will be between 80 and 85 Degrees.
