For The Rest Of Today: A warm front is currently pushing northward across the region. Along the front, there are scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms occurring from northern and eastern New York State into western Connecticut. These scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue to push southeastward and will mainly impact northern and western parts of Mass through midday.
During this afternoon, it is expected that these showers and thunderstorms will lift to our north and leave us with a mixture of sunshine and clouds during this afternoon.
High temperatures this afternoon will be between 74 and 78 Degrees.
Tonight: A humid and cloudy night is expected across Western and Central Mass with low temperatures expected to be between 64 and 69 Degrees.
In addition, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected after midnight tonight.
Wednesday: Wednesday is expected to start out quite humid, however, a strong cold front will push its way across Western and Central Mass from north to south.
The frontal boundary will push through the upper Pioneer Valley and northern Worcester County by mid to late morning Wednesday and reach the Mass Pike by early Wednesday afternoon.
I think that there will likely be a large range in temperatures on Wednesday.
Across the upper Pioneer Valley and northern Worcester County, temperatures will initially rise into the low to mid 70s during the morning and then fall through the 60s starting late Wednesday morning and continuing through Wednesday afternoon.
For the lower Pioneer Valley and southern Worcester County, including Springfield and Worcester, temperatures are expected to top out at around 80 Degrees around midday Wednesday and then fall through the 70s during Wednesday afternoon.
As for rainfall on Wednesday, some widespread shower and isolated thunderstorm activity is expected early in the morning with scattered showers and maybe an isolated thunderstorm possible with the front from late Wednesday morning until about mid-afternoon Wednesday.
Thursday: A drastically colder day is expected on Thursday with high temperatures only in the low to mid 50s!! Skies on Thursday will feature a mixture of sunshine and clouds and there may be some late day showers around.
Thursday Night: Another frontal system will cross the region during Thursday night bringing with it a round of widespread showers. It will be a cold rain with low temperatures near 45 Degrees.
Friday: Friday is expected to start out cloudy with some leftover showers, however, skies will become increasingly more sunny during Friday afternoon. High temperatures Friday will be near 60 Degrees.
Saturday Through Sunday: An area of high pressure will build across the region on Saturday giving us a sunny day. High temperatures Saturday will be near 60 Degrees.
