Mild Temperatures Expected Through Thursday; Showery & Mild On Friday

For The Rest Of Today: An area of high pressure will control our weather for the rest of today with plenty of sunshine expected. High temperatures this afternoon will be between 45 and 50 Degrees.

Tonight: A piece of energy is expected to track across northern New England tonight. The big question is how much of the precipitation connected to this piece of energy will impact southern New England. At this point, only far northern Worcester County has the best chance of seeing a bit of light snow or a rain/snow mix between 10 pm and 1 am tonight. Elsewhere across Western and Central Mass, cloudy skies are expected tonight with low temperatures between 28 and 32 Degrees.

Thursday: More clouds than sunshine is expected on Thursday with high temperatures between 52 and 57 Degrees.

Friday: A strong low pressure system is expected to track from the upper Great Lakes into Quebec, Canada pulling a cold front across southern New England during Friday. Fairly widespread showers are expected on Friday and a rumble of thunder is a possibility during Friday afternoon.

High temperatures Friday will be between 55 and 60 Degrees. The combination of quickly melting snowpack and the rainfall on Friday could lead to some flooding, especially in areas that have poor drainage.

Saturday: Partly sunny, windy and mild weather is expected on Saturday. High temperatures Saturday will be between 49 and 54 Degrees.

Sunday & Monday: Sunny to partly sunny skies, but with slightly cooler temperatures are expected on both Sunday and Monday. High temperatures Sunday will be between 40 and 45 Degrees. High temperatures Monday will be near 40 Degrees.
