4-6" Of Snow Across Western Mass & 6-10" Of Snow Across Central Mass Tonight Into Early Mon Morning

For The Rest Of Today: Skies will be sunny to partly sunny through early afternoon with increasing clouds expected during the mid and late afternoon hours. High temperatures this afternoon will be between 40 and 45 Degrees.

4 To 6 Inches Of Snow Across Western Mass & 6 To 10 Inches Of Snow Across Central Mass Is Expected Tonight Into Early Monday Morning: An area of low pressure is forecast to track from the southeastern United States today to near Nantucket during Monday morning.

Snow will overspread Western and Central Mass between 7 and 9 pm this evening with the snow expected to continue all night long tonight.

A period of heavy snow with snowfall rates of up to 1 to 2 inches per hour is expected across a large part of Western and Central Mass from about midnight tonight to about 5 am Monday morning across Western Mass and from about 1 am tonight to about 7 am Monday morning across Central Mass.

Snow will come to an end from west to east during Monday morning – first across Western Mass by 7 to 8 am with snow ending across Central Mass by 8 to 9 am Monday morning.

Snowfall totals are expected to range from 4 to 6 inches across a large part of Western Mass to 6 to 10 inches across much of Central Mass. The hardest hit areas are expected to be from about Hartford to Worcester to Boston where upwards of 8 to 10 inches of snow is expected.

Overall, this is expected to be a pretty decent snowstorm which will impact the Monday morning commute. Plan now for delays and leave yourself plenty of extra time to get to your destination Monday morning.
